FICCI International Tax Conference 2021

The conference will focus on the most current developments in international tax space. Fate of taxation of Digital economy and “The Global Tax Agreement: the two Pillar Solution” to address the Tax Challenges Arising from the Digitalisation of the Economy, OECD’s Pillar Two global minimum corporate tax rate and potential impact on developing countries, key developments in the transfer pricing space are some of the key areas of discussion in the conference. The conference would be addressed by Mr J.B. Mohapatra, Chairperson, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Ministry of Finance and senior players from the industry and tax fraternity. The conference would focus on the impact of the different aspects of Pillar One and Two on revenue, investment, and tax competition. It will deliberate on how developing countries will potentially respond to OECD’s Pillar One and Pillar Two with domestic legislation. The conference is being organised virtually. We are confident of replicating the experience of a physical conference.
